Terra State Wants Input on Strategic Plan

Terra State Wants Input on Strategic Plan
March 07, 2019

Terra State Community College is inviting the public to be an active participant in our upcoming strategic planning initiative. The College will be holding six information-gathering sessions that will allow everyone to be a part of the process in developing the path Terra State will follow.

“We want input,” says Terra State President Ronald Schumacher. “We want to hear from the community to know what the College is doing right and where it needs to improve. Terra State is a vital component of the region and we need to ensure that we are meeting the needs of all involved.”

Dr. Corrie Voss who holds degrees from Western Michigan University and Bowling Green State University and is a recognized expert in behavioral science, leadership development and organizational effectiveness will lead the strategic planning sessions. “The answers to how Terra State can remain a vibrant resource lie within the community,” says Voss. “We are reaching out to the community because everyone is going to have some type of idea of what Terra State can do to secure its future.”

Sessions will be held at the Neeley Center on the Fremont campus and begin in March and continue monthly until May.

 Dates and times are:

Wednesday, April 10 – 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, May 8 – 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Those interested in participating in any of the strategic planning sessions or have questions can call 419-559-2261 or email foundation@terra.edu. Any amount of input and participation is vital to the success of the planning sessions.
