State Farm Neighborhood Assist® Applications Open July 15
June 02, 2020

Neighbors across the country will soon have an exciting opportunity to help change their communities for the better through State Farm Neighborhood Assist®.

Back for its ninth year, this program helps communities across the U.S. by awarding $25,000 grants to 40 nonprofit organizations.

With the effects of COVID-19 being felt in our communities across the country, we’re removing all category requirements for State Farm Neighborhood Assist® submissions this year.

The program awards $25,000 grants to 40 nonprofit organizations to help fund neighborhood education, safety and community development projects.

Individuals can submit a cause at www.neighborhoodassist.com starting July 15. You can prepare now by going to the website and downloading the submission guide. We will accept the first 2,000 submissions. The State Farm Review Committee will then narrow the field to the top 200 finalists using a scoring rubric.

The public will have a chance to vote from September 23 through October 2, for their favorite causes from the list of finalists. Voting will take place at www.neighborhoodassist.com.

The 40 causes that receive the most votes will each win a $25,000 grant. Winners will be announced on November 4, at neighborhoodassist.com.

“I am so excited to be able to bring this opportunity to Tiffin and Seneca County,” said local agent Nicole Miller. “I would love to see one of our local non-profits be able to provide their organization with this grant money.  It would be a true blessing if our office could help provide one of our local non-profits with the $25,000.”
