Feature Friday: Your Legacy Federal Credit Union

Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: Your Legacy Federal Credit Union! 

Your Legacy Federal Credit Union has been a member-driven financial cooperative since its origin in 1952.  Many may recall their name change from St. Joseph Federal Credit Union to Your Legacy Federal Credit Union in 2014 that allowed them to accept customers from the entire community of Seneca County.  Your Legacy Federal Credit Union operates with the mission of having their members obtaining life-long financial success and well-being. Their service level will exceed expectations through commitment to excellence, industry best practices, and continuous improvement. Through their unified team of professionals, Your Legacy Federal Credit Union will continually provide competitively-priced services to all members.  Their staff is dedicated to the needs and opinions of its members and strive to offer the credit union experience every day. More than 8,200 members/owners have been able to obtain the financial services they require because of Your Legacy’s presence in our community. 

Your Legacy Federal Credit Union is located at 25 Shaffer Park Drive in Tiffin.  In addition to their physical location, members can also enjoy the convenience and ease of doing their banking through the Your Legacy Federal Credit Union website.  In July of 2021, Your Legacy began the process of adding an addition to their building and also completing renovations to create a better experience for those they serve.  The project was just completed a few weeks ago and members and the staff could not be more excited. With the addition of offices and a conference room, the over $1 million expansion boosted the square footage of the property from 5,006 to 6,341 square feet. They also added a new sitting area, a coffee counter, and free Wi-Fi to the lobby.  To make the lobby more modern, the floors were renovated, the walls were painted, and the member service representative line was upgraded.  Your Legacy has partnered with 20 companies to make this dream a reality, including JDH Construction of Tiffin, who provided contractor services and Encompass Engineers and Architects Inc. of Findlay who is the architect for the project.  To celebrate the completion of these projects, everyone is welcome to the Ribbon Cutting & After Five Networking event on March 10, 2022 beginning at 5:30pm hosted by the Chamber and Your Legacy.
