Chamber Set to Host Inclusive Hiring Program

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced that they will host an inclusive hiring program seminar on Monday, July 11 at 9 AM at Concordance Healthcare Solutions, 85 Shaffer Park Drive in Tiffin.

The seminar will highlight the inclusive hiring partnership between Concordance Healthcare Solutions and the Seneca County Opportunity Center. This partnership was launched in 2017 and focuses on hiring individuals with developmental disabilities. Concordance Healthcare Solutions currently employs seven individuals with disabilities, which is the most of any employer in Seneca County.

Concordance Healthcare Solutions utilizes support services from the Seneca County Opportunity Center such as job coaches, case management, and other resources to help individuals stay happily employed.

Lew Hurst, Superintendent of the Seneca County Opportunity Center said, “Our partnership with Concordance has created integrated employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This has meant good paying jobs for individuals we serve, and we are able to support Concordance with dedicated employees.”
