Feature Friday: Copper Mare Ranch

Feature Friday: Copper Mare Ranch
July 15, 2022

Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: Copper Mare Ranch!

Copper Mare Ranch was established in 2020 and is located at 6090 N. SR 53, Tiffin, sits on the family farm just north of Fort Seneca. Owner Grant Fatzinger explains that Copper Mare Ranch is an equine event center that offers three levels of boarding, riding and rodeo-style clinics, and open rides. The newly built 20,000-square-foot indoor arena and 37,000-square-foot lighted outdoor area will be home to several types of events such as Ohio High School Rodeo, individual rodeo events, cattle sorting, cutting, and more!

Horses boarded at the state-of-the-art facility have access to large stalls, professional feeding plans, daily turnout, as well as indoor and outdoor wash bays. Owners of horses boarded at Copper Mare Ranch are invited to take advantage of a heated and air-conditioned rider’s lounge, and no grounds fees for shows. The ranch also has a veterinary tech on site with support from the owners who live on the grounds.

Fatzinger has an extensive 15-year rodeo background that ranges from bull and bronc riding, team roping, tie-down roping, and two-man ranch sorting. Heather Clouse is the Director of Operations and she is a registered veterinary technician with more than 15 years’ experience in the equine industry.

The team at Copper Mare Ranch will be hosting the International Professional Rodeo Association and Vendor Fair on July 23rd and all are invited! The best cowboys in the International Pro Rodeo are coming to Tiffin and will compete. Copper Mare Ranch is excited to bring Broken Horn Rodeo company to town and events include bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, team roping, and steer wrestling. You won't want to miss this night of entertainment and the return of rodeo to the area!
