Ribbon Cutting Opportunity Park

Join the Chamber Ambassadors as they host a Ribbon Cutting for Opportunity Park to celebrate their new inclusive playground on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 1 pm. Opportunity Park is located at 780 E. CR. 20, Tiffin.

Please gather by 12:50 pm, the ribbon will be cut at 1 pm. See you there!

The playground has accessible equipment that will allow children of all abilities to play together and a flat, seamless surface so people with mobility impairments can access the entire playground area.

In addition to a $200,000 grant from the Ohio Capital Fund, the playground was generously funded by the Tiffin Community Foundation, the Seneca County Park District, the Gillmor Foundation, Leadership Seneca County, and the Seneca County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

The playground was a partnership between several community organizations including the Seneca County Park District, Seneca County Commissioners, Seneca Regional Planning Commission, Leadership Seneca County, Heidelberg University Football, Tiffin University Football, and the Seneca County Opportunity Center.

This event is free and open to the public. Opportunity Park is located behind the Opportunity Center at 780 E. Co. Rd. 20 in Tiffin.
