Tiffin Park & Recreation and the City of Tiffin Celebrate Opening of Inclusive Playground

Congratulations to Tiffin Park & Recreation and the City of Tiffin  on cutting the ribbon to celebrate the opening of the inclusive playground at Hedges-Boyer Park!

This brand new inclusive playground replaces aging equipment and improves the recreation opportunities for families visiting and living in Tiffin and Seneca County. In addition to two new playsets, other equipment includes new swings, a zip line, jungle gym, sensory pods, shaded benches, picnic tables, a butterfly garden, and more!

Inclusive play systems are designed to allow all people to participate in play, regardless of age or ability, and to prove that play has no limit. This project was made possible through funds granted to the City of Tiffin through the American Recovery Plan Act and through other local grant programs.

We are so excited to have this amazing addition in our community and can't wait to see the joy it will bring. Thank you to everyone who made this project possible and to all who attended to commemorate its opening!
