Whether your garden is large or only fills a couple of pots, as the vegetable growing season winds down, there are important tasks to do to get your soil rested and ready for spring planting.

Sister Rita Wienken, OSF, is an organic farmer and gardener. In 2005, she founded Seeds of Hope Farm on the St. Francis Campus, which produces chemical-free produce, eggs, flowers, and fresh/dried herbs.
