Third Thursday Series | Fête de la Musique

Downtown is kicking off the summer season with a new event! Originating in France, Fête de la Musique (also known as "Music Day") is a celebration of music where people take to the streets to perform live music. Community members and their families are encouraged to walk around Downtown Tiffin and enjoy the music while shopping and supporting our local retailers and eateries from 5 – 7 p.m.

At 7 p.m. everyone is invited to the East Green Amphitheatre to enjoy more live music. The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will be hosting a ‘make your own instrument’ workshop from 2 – 4 p.m. and the Tiffin Community Foundation will offer an opportunity for children to participate in making music in Cherry Alley as part of the activities for the evening.

Downtown is looking for musicians to play on street corners, sidewalks, along Frost Parkway and more around Downtown Tiffin on Thursday, June 15 between 5 – 7 p.m. If you're interested in playing or a business that will have a musician outside of your business for this event, please email Vickie Wilkins at wilkinsvm@tiffin.edu.

If you are a local business, you are invited to set up a table or tent in the Community Lot. This is a great opportunity to promote your business! Reserve your spot now, as they are available on a first come, first serve basis.

• Downtown brick-and-mortar business: No charge (contact Donna at gross@tiffinseneca.org to reserve)
• Non-downtown business: $25/space (reserve here)
• No electricity or water provided
• No vehicles are to be parked on the premises
• Promotional giveaway items are permitted, no items for sale
