At-home COVID-19 antigen test available for Small Businesses in Seneca County
March 05, 2021

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership, in partnership with the Seneca County Health District and the Seneca County Emergency Management Agency, will have the BINAXNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card Test available for free to small businesses in Seneca County. Test kits will be available for contactless pickup at their offices, located at 19 West Market Street, Suite C, beginning Monday, March 8, and available anytime 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during weekdays.

The 15-minute BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card Home Test has received FDA Emergency Use Authorization for at-home testing in collaboration with eMed, a digital health solution. A trained telehealth professional then guides you through the at-home self-test via video call using the BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card Home Test and Abbott’s complementary NAVICA™ mobile app to enable the testing process and display BinaxNOW COVID-19 test results. The simple test procedure is performed by using a nasal swab and a test the size of credit card and is intended only for individuals suspected of COVID-19 within the first seven days of symptom onset.

As well as the home test kits, a limited supply of hand sanitizer and face coverings are available at the office, and will be kept at a table in the lobby for business owners to take. Business owners are asked to provide their name, name of their business and contact information upon pick-up.
