Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: The Poignon Project!
The magical art of glassblowing is alive and well at the Poignon Project, Glass studio and gallery at 227 E. Perry Street in Tiffin.
They offer a wide variety of handmade glass items including ornaments, marbles, sculptures, stemware, jewelry and many other great glass products. The Poignon Project also makes custom glass creations and offers glassblowing classes for you to take and enjoy! All of their products are proudly made at their studio located in Tiffin.
In addition to their glass work, The Poignon Project also serves as an art gallery, featuring different artists and mediums of art. Last year, The Poignon Project began an initiative called The Community Art Shed. This is a shed outside their location that offers art supplies to artists of any level or age for FREE!
This weekend, The Poignon Project is thrilled to put on their 6th annual Holiday Glass Scavenger Hunt! The scavenger hunt will kick off at The Poignon Project on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m.
Free hot chocolate and cookies made by Handshoe Cakes and Cookies will be provided. Beth Mattia will be providing live music, and Laura’s Lenses will be taking photos. Free take-home art activities will also be provided by the Community Art Shed. Additionally, Poignon has partnered with eight Downtown Tiffin businesses to provide a “word scrabble raffle” for your chance to win a gift basket with over $500 in local products and gift cards. Each business will have entry cards and a letter posted at their checkout counter. Simply visit each shop for the letters, and once you finish, bring your entry card to The Poignon Project complete with your name and phone number to enter.
Make sure to stop in and support this creative and amazing business! We are so lucky to have them in our community and as proud members of the Chamber!
