Copper Mare Ranch Cuts Ribbon

Copper Mare Ranch Cuts Ribbon
April 22, 2022

Congratulations to Copper Mare Ranch on their ribbon cutting of their facility!

The ranch, at 6090 N. SR 53, Tiffin, sits on the family farm just north of Fort Seneca. Owner Grant Fatzinger explained that Copper Mare Ranch is an equine event center that offers three levels of boarding, riding and rodeo-style clinics and open rides. The new 20,000-square-foot indoor arena and 37,000-square-foot lighted outdoor area will be home to several events, including a professional rodeo in July.

Horses boarded at the state-of-the-art facility will have access to large stalls, professional feeding plans, daily turnout, as well as indoor and outdoor wash bays. Owners of horses boarded at Copper Mare Ranch will be invited to take advantage of a heated and air-conditioned rider’s lounge, and no grounds fees for shows. The ranch also will have a veterinary tech on site with support from the owners who live on the grounds.

Fatzinger has an extensive 15-year rodeo background that ranges from bull and bronc riding, team roping, tie-down roping, and two-man ranch sorting. Heather Clouse is the Director of Operations. She is a registered veterinary technician with more than 15 years’ experience in the equine industry.

The team at Copper Mare Ranch will be hosting the International Professional Rodeo Association and Vendor Fair on July 23. They also have several events/activities slated including Ohio High School Rodeo, individual rodeo events, cattle sorting, cutting, and more.

Keep an eye out for their official grand opening date in the near future!
