Baked By bells was started by Ellen and Don Bell, Seneca County natives, when they had a dream and a vision of sharing their unique tastes and designs with the community and local areas. Ellen comes from a long line of craftswomen and bakers. She grew up in Tiffin with a love for baking that was instilled in her by her mother and her grandmother, who taught home economics and the art of baking and cooking in the 1930s. Today, Ellen shares that passion with her children, Teagan and Jasmin.

After a full kitchen remodel, and stove to match, their dream of baking some of their favorite treats to share with the extended community has come true. Recently, Baked By Bells has announced an expansion to their business with the addition of a production site to their company. They will now operate out of the commercial kitchen located at 14 Sycamore Street in Downtown Tiffin. They plan to continue to sell at the Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market and other local markets and are excited to include their newly expanded product line!  

Baked By Bells offers macarons, lollipops, shortbreads, royal icing sugar cookies, buckeye candies, caramels, brownies, muffins, pies, cheesecake, and seasonal hot cocoa bombs. With the addition of freeze-drying equipment, they expanded from a strictly home-based business and now are able to add candy options to their menu. The freeze-drying process provides a unique texture and experience to traditional candy. Baked By Bells products can be found at the Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market, as well as three surrounding community markets, and they accept custom orders.
