Feature Friday: Calvert Catholic Schools
September 16, 2022

Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: Calvert Catholic Schools!

Catholic education in Tiffin, Ohio dates back to the mid-nineteenth century when St. Joseph School began in a one-room log cabin in 1847 with 20 students. From humble beginnings, Catholic education has has had a long-standing presence in the Tiffin community, educating students in a faith-based atmosphere to become devoted Christians, productive citizens, and community and global leaders of the future. Calvert Catholic Schools is proud to carry on the long standing tradition and presence of Catholic education in our community and are one family committed to Christ spiritually, academically, physically, and socially.

Calvert Catholic Schools offers a faith-based academic curriculum for pre-kindergarten to grade twelve students. In addition to their standard curriculum, they also offer the Service Encompassing All (S.E.A.) program, Science, Technology, Engineering , Arts, and Math (STEAM) programs, project-based learning through critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, Advanced Placement courses, and College Credit Plus options. Calvert Catholic Schools believes in having students be well rounded and provides them with a plethora of opportunities to explore and grow outside of the classroom. Calvert Catholic Schools offers a wide range of arts and activities such as theatre, student organizations, band, advanced art focusing on digital media, ceramics, and sculpture, and esports, just to name a few.
