Seneca Regional Chamber to Launch Second Annual Love Local Campaign

Seneca Regional Chamber to Launch Second Annual Love Local Campaign
October 28, 2022

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the launch of their second annual Love Local campaign. The official campaign is set to begin on November 1, 2022, and it is meant to encourage those living in Seneca County to support all things local instead of going out of town or online to non-locally owned and operated entities as the holiday season quickly approaches.

The Love Local campaign was first established in 2021 and was inspired by the annual Small Business Saturday event. Small Business Saturday is sponsored by American Express that will take place on Saturday, November 26 in communities across the country.

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce wishes to encourage the community to support local every day of the year and to put their money with their heart is. According to the Small Business Administration (SBA) for every dollar spent at a small business in the United States, approximately 67 cents stays in the local community.

The campaign reached more than 90,000 users on social media last year. This year will include social media features, videos, contests, and more. The campaign will focus on why community members should support local including economic impact, job creation, quality of services and products, and supporting your neighbor.
