Christmas Tree Lighting Kicks off Holiday Season in Seneca County

Christmas Tree Lighting Kicks off Holiday Season in Seneca County
December 04, 2022

The Chamber and Destination Seneca County team would like to thank so many individuals who helped make the tree lighting experience the largest one yet!

Thank you to Beth Mattia and Nate McMaster for the holiday music, Sound Solutions of Ohio, LLC for the incredible sound system that was enjoyed by all in attendance, and Tim Hortons for providing free hot chocolate.

Thank you to Andrew Kalnow for adding to the experience by lighting up East Tower, National Corner, and Frost Village.

Thank you to Seneca County Commissioner  Mike Kerschner, City of Tiffin Mayor Dawn Iannantuono, Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership/Downtown Tiffin's Director of Downtown Revitalization Amy Reinhart, and Tiffin-Seneca Public Library's Matthew Ross.

Thank you to the more than 300 students from Tiffin City Schools, Calvert Catholic Schools, Seneca East, and local businesses that decorated ornaments for the second annual CommuniTree project, along with John Logsdon and his team for hanging them up.

Most importantly thank you to Donna Gross, Kate Wertz, and the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership for stepping up and leading the first-ever Kris Kringle Markt. Your commitment to our community is amazing and we know that many small businesses felt the impact of your work this weekend. We can't wait for it next year!
