September 13th, 2023 was a gorgeous day to kick off Leadership Seneca County Class of 2024 with 20 new class participants at Camp Fire USA – Camp Glen. LSC Board President, Kim Radison and board members welcomed the newcomers as they enjoyed a light breakfast reception. The class then proceeded to appreciate morning team building activities led by camp instructors. Next, the class relished lunch provided by the onsite, nonprofit organization. Afterwards, previous class graduates shared their experiences, advice, and class projects which included helping with the construction of Opportunity Park, creating and implementing Blessing Boxes, and providing Transformation Life Center with a much-needed storage unit. The class was able to then tour the grounds, which seemed thoroughly appreciated by all and finished the day by discussing potential class projects. Already, leadership skills are being refined and they were truly inspired; plans to formulate a decision on their class project were quickly put into place.
