The VCA Dog & Cat Hospital staff is from all corners of Seneca County, many from Tiffin. They all gravitated to VCA for the growth and opportunities it provided the community of Tiffin. VCA Dog and Cat Hospital has been here for years; they were initially McClung's Animal Hospital and changed ownership to VCA in 2016. The Hospital Manager and Veterinarian have been with the practice since the mid-2000s before the transition to VCA. Jolean, the hospital manager, started as a technician for the clinic and knew the hospital from the ground up. For Dr. Ryan Burger, veterinary medicine runs in the family, and he has been the medical heart behind the clinic for many years.

Veterinary Centers of America was started to bring world-class care to hometowns. They have all types of hospitals all over North America. A larger organization allows local clinics to offer their clients more medical and nutritional options. They may have a corporate title, but the VCA of Tiffin strives to offer hometown veterinary care. They have a deep compassion for all their patients and their "parents" (the pet owners). They provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats, from boarding and preventative medicine, such as vaccines and nutrition, to routine and some more advanced surgeries at the doctor's discretion.
