Feature Friday: Arlington Acres

Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them.  This week's Feature Friday is: Arlington Acres! 

One of the most enchanting and affordable venues in the area await you, welcome to Arlington Acres! Arlington Acres is a charming northwest Ohio historic barn wedding venue nestled in the middle of corn fields and set on a working modern farm, it feels as if you're tucked away in the middle of nowhere but in truth, just minutes from Tiffin. From boho to rustic, to timeless elegance the barn is the perfect canvas to tell your love story and celebrate with family and friends.

The foundations of the barn were first laid by their namesake, Arlington Dunn, in 1878 where it stood for several years and then was used as housing for the building crew and farm hands as they built Arlington’s beautiful home on the property. The lumber used for the barn and home is all native timber (butternut, walnut, and cherry) from the farm. In 2019, John and Sarah Bolte,. owners and founders of Arlington Acres, set about restoring the barn to it's former glory and updating it to become a wedding venue. The additions included re-siding, adding windows, restrooms, getting ready suites, a kitchen and patio. In 2022 Arlington Acres was awarded Heritage Ohio's Historic Farmstead of the Year Award for their restoration efforts and the list of accolades for Arlington Acres continues to grow every year!

Most recently, Arlington Acres was selected as the 2024 winner of The Knot Best of Weddings, 2024 WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards®, and 2024 Best of Zola Award, all three accolades representing the highest- and most-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples, their families and wedding guests on The Knot, Wedding Wire and Zola. To determine the winners, The Knot & Wedding Wire & Zola analyzed millions of its user reviews across various vendor categories—planners, venues, musicians, florists, photographers, caterers and more—to find the highest-rated vendors of the year.
