Celebrate Summer's Bounty at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center's 17th Annual Summer Harvest Gala!

Calling all foodies and sustainability enthusiasts! The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center (FELC) is hosting its 17th annual Summer Harvest Gala, and you're invited to join the celebration!

This year's event promises to be a delightful evening filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, live music, and exciting auctions – all for a great cause.

Here's what you can look forward to:

• Garden party theme: Dust off your floral prints and summer dresses! A garden party theme is encouraged but not required.
• Culinary Delights:
  • Savor a spread of heavy appetizers featuring fresh, chemical-free vegetables grown on the FELC's Seeds of Hope Farm. Catering will be provided by The Empire at 138, Heidelberg University, and Ironwood Steakhouse.
  • Witness live cooking demonstrations by local culinary masters from Don Tomasso's Italian Kitchen, Ralph's Joy of Living, and Bella Cuisine Cooking and Catering.
  • Indulge in a selection of delectable desserts by Carolyn's Personalized Catering and Ralph's Joy of Living.
  • Explore healthy and unique samples from Wild Bunch Wellness Bar.
• Drinks Galore: Quench your thirst with a variety of wines and brews from local vendors like The Laird Arcade Brewery, Gillig Winery, Ralph's Joy of Living, Carey Brewing Station, Hoptometry Brewing Company, and Beerco/City Beverage.
• Entertainment: Enjoy live music by Karsten Snitker throughout the evening.

• Test your luck: Participate in exciting raffles including a 50/50 raffle, a general raffle, and a special garden party raffle.
• Bid to win: The event features live and silent auctions with a wide variety of enticing items.
• Try your luck with mystery grabs: For a flat fee of $20, you could walk away with a surprise!
• Enter for a chance to win big: Every ticket purchase enters you into the drawing for a gift card tree valued at $250 and a separate drawing for a cool $500! Additional tickets for the gift card tree and $500 are $10 each, sold separately.
