The League of Women Voters of the Tiffin Area will host Danielle Smith on “State of Abortion and Reproductive Rights in Ohio,” February 15, 6:30 p.m., Frost-Kalnow Room, Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.  The meeting is open to the public.

Smith, the Executive Director of the National Association of Social Workers – Ohio Chapter has worked in advocacy at the state and local levels. 

Following the Dobbs v Jackson Supreme Court decision in June 2022, abortion rights, bodily autonomy and other healthcare rights have been at risk in Ohio.  This presentation will cover the current landscape of laws affecting reproductive rights, where abortion access stands and opportunities for advocacy.
