Join Mercy Health for their monthly Stroke Support Program.

What is the Stroke Support Program? It's a place where stroke survivors and caregivers can talk about their daily experiences and challenges. You can ask questions, share your concerns, and learn from others, which helps with socializing and improving speech skills. Throughout the year, guest speakers talk about the unique problems faced by stroke survivors and share solutions to make everyday life easier.

You'll have access to:

  • Practical strategies for managing daily life challenges after a stroke
  • Tips for enhancing communication skills and speech development
  • Coping techniques for emotional well-being and mental health support
  • Personal stories and experiences shared by fellow stroke survivors and caregivers
  • Guest speakers addressing specific topics like rehabilitation, nutrition, and self-care
  • Networking opportunities to connect with others who have gone through similar experiences

Classes are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m.

  • July 24
  • August 28
  • September 25
  • October 23

All classes are held in the McMullen Conference Center, Room 1 at Mercy Health —Tiffin Hospital
