The Bloomville Kids Committee is hosting the 3rd Annual Bloomville Block Party & Car Show on Saturday, August 5 at the Bloomville Veterans’ Memorial & Beeghly Park, 10 Beeghly Avenue, Bloomville, Ohio. The event is set to be the largest yet by far with various new activities and attractions.  

The day’s schedule includes vendors 10 am to 3 pm, a parade at 11 am followed by an opening ceremony, food and beer beginning at 11:30 am, kids booths and face painting at 12 pm, a car show 1 - 3 pm, free swimming, kids inflatables and a foam party 1 - 7 pm, whiffle ball games at 3 pm, cornhole at 5 pm, and live music 5 - 11 pm including bands ‘One Foot in the Grave’ and ‘Wally and the Beavs,’ the final reverse raffle drawing at 10:30 pm and much more. 

The event began a few years ago as a way for the Bloomville community to reconnect with old friends, enjoy all that our local area has to offer, and celebrate the progress and improvements the community has made over the last few years.

“The Bloomville Block Party is a great event for our village and an awesome way for the community to come together,” Bloomville Mayor David Auble Jr. said. “This year I’ll even be taking a pie in the face to help raise money!”

There will also be appearances from local celebrities such as the “Big Nut” and Netflix star Jacob Hacker as well as participation from many local organizations. Local Joe Gottfried will be honored as the parade’s grand marshall.
