The Resiliency Edge

The Resiliency Edge provides high-quality, targeted, transformative professional development and coaching to individuals and leaders in any organization.

Darlene Mack founded the Resiliency Edge in 2023 in response to 21st-century challenges. The rapid transformation of our increasingly complex society, including the global pandemic, political climate, and other challenges, has created many difficulties and pain points for leaders, such as high stress levels, mental and physical illness, high employee turnover, low morale, financial concern, and lack of trust. Darlene's experience as a business owner, educator, counselor, life coach, and parent, her passion for personal growth and development, and her Doctorate Degree in Leadership Studies gave her the skills she needed to help others. Since 2014, Darlene has had the privilege of developing and copresenting to over 8,000 leaders and educators at the local, state, and national level on how the experiences of trauma impact students' development, learning, and behavior. In her presentations, she discussed that as students leave school and take their place in the workforce, they carry societal challenges, which result in collective trauma for most people, and early life experiences. As a result, business and organizational leaders may benefit from gaining knowledge, skills, and mindsets to address and respond to their and their employees' difficulties. In 2020, Darlene earned the Ohio Middle School Counselor of the Year and the Ohio School Counselor of the Year awards.

When 21st-century leaders are the best personal and professional version of themselves, they can help others be the best personal and professional version of themselves. Due to a deep-rooted passion for helping and supporting people who have experienced trauma/adversity, The Resiliency Edge provides knowledge, skills, and mindset shifts to leaders as they address today's challenges. Because of the far-reaching personal and professional implications for those who have experienced trauma/adversity, the circumstances demand leadership involvement to impact their stakeholders' physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
