Jenny Hale, the Owner of The Secret Seamstress, recently moved to Tiffin and is excited to further her alterations business after owning and operating her own shop in Southern Ohio for more than five years. The Secret Seamstress is located on the second floor of The Laird Building at 120 1/2 South Washington Street is open for walk-ins on Monday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. She is available for appointment at other times by calling 419-608-8074.

Jenny met Danielle Park with Yours with Every Stitch when she first moved to Tiffin and they began swapping sewing tricks & business tips. These conversations eventually led to the opening of The Secret Seamstress. They look forward to working together to meet the needs of the community.

Jenny is trained specifically to alter formal gowns but has learned and acquired the art of tailoring suits on her own. In addition to gowns and suits, she has expanded her horizons to work on everyday clothing like hemming pants and repairing zippers in coats, handbags, jeans, and other items.
